Debbie finally got her way and Emma went as Wonder Woman. As sophisticated as Wonder Woman is portrayed in comic books, Emma has redefined sophisticated the Bautista/Gavin way. Debbie was also able to walk the entire time with little to no pain for the first time in 7 years. What a Blessing!
OnOctober 4th, Emma and Grandma got to listen to Jamie LeeCurtis read her book, "BigWords for Little People" at Mrs. Nelson's Toy and Book Shop. When Jamie asked the kids who knows a big word, Emma told her "Frustrated!" and Jamie said, "Wow! That is a big word!" It's just like Emma to say something surprising like that.
Here are some photos of Emma playing soccer. Recently she's been playing defense as the goalie and a half back. She's doing well and in Division 7 there is only one other goalie will do a drop kick like her. From the sidelines you can hear all the parents say, "WOW! Did you teach her to do that?"
This is Emma's first trip to the Circus courtesy of AI. It was a company outing to Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Honda Center in Anaheim. She had a complete blast. We didn't tell her anything about it and on the Saturday, August 3rd, we told her we had to go a store by my work. It wasn't until we entered the stadium she began to question what we were doing there especially when we went to the Pre Show with the cast of the Circus. All she said when we told her was, "THE CIRCUS!!!" She was beaming the entire time.
